What a lovely site and so informative. Hubby and I got 2 baby pygmies March 2008 (Starsky and Hutch). Unfortunately Hutch became ill and dies November 2010, and we have continued to keep Starsky on his own since then. This is the only place where I've seen it that as long as a pygmy goat has goat company when young, then they can be ok if one goat dies. We had been advised to rehome Starsky or get another goat, neither of which we wanted to do. Starsky seems fine, and we have given him lots of things to keep him occupied. Thank you for this site, it really is wonderful!! |
